  SPYS is an acronym for SUBS PITA YOGURT and SALAD. I've seen this SPYS around over the years and never actually been to it before. There isn't really much hype around it either, no advertisements or anything that I could see. This location moved from down the street on Tecumseh and McDougall, to Tecumseh and Howard.
  
  I work in the area so I walked here on my lunch. When walking in the entire place looks run down and looks like a place you'd find in a small one stop light street down, not in an urbanized city like Windsor. I went ahead anyway, there was no one in the store, I browsed the menu and ordered a 7-inch sub called the assorted secret. The employee was really nice at explaining everything to me, asked me what I kind of toppings I wanted on my sub. The sub tasted okay with the very little toppings they did have available.
  
  The overall experience was mediocre. It was convenient to walk to and the prices aren't that bad. I won't go out of my way to come here for lunch, or really recommend it to friends. It's not that interesting and they're just like any other sub place, but not that great.

  This place used to serve such good food. Lately the food has been off. Today I ordered a poutine and it tasted off. The fries were not crunchy at all either but barely cooked. Upon showing the lady who did the order she got annoyed with me and kept saying Look! They are cooked they are brown!
  
  Well even if they are brown if the grease is old it will still turn them brown. She just kept getting annoyed with me and finally just said she would make me another one. My husband told her and the owner not to bother because is the grease is old it's not gonna make a difference. Not to mention the fact that she was so rude and getting so upset with me because I said that something was wrong with it that we just said we wouldn't be back.
